Took my last final yesterday…..My first semester at OU is done! Now to give some much needed attention to my car. Paint coming soon.

Kilo tt

I went on my first real ride today on my kilo tt. I got the bike for christmas from my girlfriend. Up to this point I had only rode it around campus. It felt really good today but the ride is super rough unless the road Is super smooth. My first upgrade for it is going to be a new set of pedals and straps. Im a total newb when it comes to bicycles. Any good sites or forums I can check out?

Went through my first tank of gas in the fit. I got 299 miles out of 8.8 gallons which is equal to 34 MPG. I am pretty happy with this number. This was using crap 10% ethanol gas and in very cold weather. My commute is about 80% highway miles. I think that once it warms up and using non ethanol gasoline i can reach 40 MPG.

I got a new car a few days ago. 08 honda fit with 38000 miles. This is a huge upgrade for me since the newest car I ever had was a 97 240sx. I put 130 miles on it the first day I got it. As soon as I get a chance im going to give it a good polish and wax it. I plan to keep this car 100% stock. I may add tint and hid’s and call it good.

I applied to OU back in october and finally got admitted January 3rd when i received this in the mail.

Classes started on jan 18th and I still had to be advised before i could enroll in classes. I was worried that I would not be able to get the classes that i needed. Luckily I was given overrides into the classes that were full. Im scheduled to graduate in spring 2013 with a bachelors in Petroleum Engineering. OU has one of the top undergraduate programs in the world so getting a job when I am done should be a piece of cake.

This semester my schedule consist of:

Reservoir rock properties w/lab(hardest class in the entire curriculum)
Structural geology and stratigraphy w/lab
Thermodynamics
Engineering transfer student orientation
Beginning weight training(needed the one hour for financial aid purposes)

Drove to school today!!!
